It has been 2600 years of the Buddha's Enlightenment. Still, His teachings are useful and beneficial for human beings, brightly shines to illuminate the world of darkness.It will always shine and never stop till the world disappears.
Nowadays, Buddhism has been changed a lot from the past due to it has encountered with destruction in the history, disappeared from the country of its origin. Luckily then it had already spread to others countries where it continued to grow until the present day. Our deep gratitude for Asoka the Emperor whose devoted son and daughter, Mahinda and Sanghamitta who later ordained and attained Arahantship and brought Buddhism into Sri Lanka where it has fully flourished and spread throughout the world. Because of them the Wheel of the Dhamma is running and will never stop!
